FCL — Full Container Load. You book a 20' (~28 CBM) or 40' (~58 CBM) container. Faster transit, simpler customs, lower per-CBM cost. Right when your shipment is more than ~15 CBM.
LCL — Less than Container Load. You share container space with other shippers. Right for 1–15 CBM. Slightly longer transit (deconsolidation at destination) but no container minimum.

Most US customs holds happen because docs are wrong, not because cargo is wrong. We get the documents right the first time.
China-side export clearance · ocean freight · destination THC · documentation fees · basic insurance option.
Import duty · MPF / HMF · drayage · ISF filing · last-mile delivery · DDP markup.
Demurrage · detention · chassis fees — billed at carrier rate if they occur.
Typically around 14–16 CBM. Below that, LCL is cheaper; above that, FCL gets you faster transit and tighter customs. We model both in the quote when you're near the line.
Free-time at US ports is usually 4–5 days after vessel discharge. We pre-pull containers within the window — the demurrage clock starts only if you choose to hold at port.
Port-to-port is freight only; you arrange drayage and final mile yourself. Door-to-door includes destination customs, drayage, and final delivery to your address or FBA warehouse — one vendor, one invoice.
Yes. We send the docs to your broker before vessel arrival. Common for established importers with in-house compliance teams.
EU lanes via Suez add 7–14 days from the Cape of Good Hope diversion. We factor that into quotes and recommend earlier booking on Asia-Europe routes during Q3/Q4.
Yes — refrigerated containers (reefers) for temperature-sensitive cargo. Temperature set point declared on booking; we monitor mid-transit via carrier API.
